How late is too late for loud music?

Westfield Park is very fortunate, that we get very little anti social behaviour on the site. To keep it that way we have this forum so that it can be recorded and dealt with swiftly. It is already clear that the antisocial behaviour in our area is trivial and irregular. Mostly people not realising that something they have done has caused offence. It is a pleasure to have the chance to live in such a friendly happy neighbourhood and lets work to keep it this way

Hi Joanne

I think your first reply with the apology that I read to be genuine and diplomatic was more than enough and I am sorry you felt you needed to explain yourself further. I hope you can now have some peace of mind, remember the celebrations with happiness and not let this cloud those memories.

I saw the marquees and thought "Wow that's gonna be some party, wonder how I can gt an invite!"

Communication is key - even with hindsight - and this forum has at least allowed a voice and enabled some mutual understanding. I hope.

Best wishes to all and hope to see you all at the next meeting!

Hi,
Iv'e read the previous posts with interest and endorse most comments - which to be honest express in general, good common sense.
However, although no loud music appears to be involved, me and my Family have experienced disturbed sleep - up to four AM.
This occurs fairly regularly on Fridays and Saturdays and does not appear to involve "homecoming celebrations" but just involves regular "parties" for whatever reason.
Loud, animated talking and sometimes shouting and screaming on occasions is of course disturbing through the night.
Without exageration, it was necessary for me to wear ear plugs last night! The disturbance continued until about 4 AM.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else is being disturbed? - or whether it's just my imagination!!! - and need to see a shrink!!!
Seriously, is it too much to ask that beyond midnight, we all should have reasonable quiet? during the summer I personally like to keep my bedroom window open for fresh air - that for me is now not possible on most Fridays and Saturdays.
I live North of the roundabout in Whinberry Way.
